7 Simple Ways To Connect With Your Kids

As you are getting ready for another school year, prioritizing quality time for your children should be at the top of your agenda.

Make time for your children

Kids who lack connection may grow up  to be depressed, or anxious, and lacking self-worth.

Jamison Monroe, writing in Mind Body Green offers us some tips to creating meaningful moments with our children. Here are some day to day activities that can be added to any busy mom’s schedule.

Turn off the car radio when you’re driving the kids home from school.
Eat dinner together as a family a few times a week.
Share “rose and thorn” moments at the dinner table or before bed.
Leave an entire weekend unscheduled.
Breathe together.
Get outside as a family.
Take a yoga class together, or invest in a private session for the family at home.
